Why did you volunteer on Motutapu the first time?

Thought I needed some time away from the computer and meet new people face to face

What has been your most notable experience when volunteering on Motutapu so far?

Meeting new friends( and sometimes bumping into old ones!) while planting trees and learning about the ecosystem from the 'Motutapu Elders' (Motutapu kaumatua)!

Yes

Do you volunteer on your own or with a group?

On my own but sometimes with my partner or my best friend - if I can get them to get up early enough on a Sunday!

What would you say to to others who might think about volunteering on Motutapu?

Do it - it's good for you. The wind will blow the cobwebs out of your head (and if the wind didn't, the people will) J
