DUAL2011 MOTUTAPU - RANGITOTO TRAVERSE
SATURDAY 26 MARCH 2011 - IT WAS FANTASTIC !!

DUAL2011, It was damp and muddy but we didn't give a damn and neither did our 1700 competitors - it was our biggest DUAL ever ! NZ's premier multisport participant sports event offering trail running and mountain biking options, was again staged on one of the most scenic landscapes (of course we think it's the most scenic!) in New Zealand - the fabulous gulf islands of Motutapu and Rangitoto, the jewels of the inner Hauraki Gulf. Always just a once a year opportunity and entry numbers for the Dual  Motutapu - Rangitoto Traverse were fantastic with most events selling out. • The DUAL Motutapu - Rangitoto Traverse is a unique sporting event offering a variety of off road trail running and mountain biking options
• The DUAL is the only event of this nature permitted on the dual islands of Motutapu and Rangitoto.
• It offers a once a year opportunity for keen event goers
• The event is produced and managed by total sport, with key partner and beneficiary, the Motutapu Restoration Trust.

• 50km Mountain bike
• 30km Mountain bike
• 42km Marathon trail / off-road run
• 21km Half Marathon trail / off-road run & walk
• 10km run / walk (new in 2011!)
