Yes... you did read it right - bring a buddy out to the island 
absolutely free to help us with our summer weedbusting programme !

To encourage more volunteer participation, the Motutapu Restoration Trust (generously supported by Weedbusters*) is offering a 'Bring a Buddy' incentive - if you have never volunteered as a weedbuster on Motutapu island before, bring along a friend and you can both travel to the island for the price of only the one discounted ferry ticket.

If you have helped on our weed team recently - please come back but this time, bring along a friend and you can both travel for the price of one discounted ferry ticket.

Please note : The free buddy ticket is only available for pairs of volunteers who go weed busting, provided at least one hasn’t been weed-busting on Motutapu before and both are over 15 years of age.

A limited number of 'Buddy' tickets will be available on our public volunteer days every first, third and fifth Sunday of the month all year until they run out. They will be available on a first come, first served basis.
